If my acne goes away, can I stop treatment?  Am I cured?

Probably not right away.  Honestly, your acne will only be cured once the conditions that caused it are resolved.  What you should really do is continue with your treatment for several months, eat healthier, excercise, and enjoy life without acne.  When you want to see if your condition has stabalized, stop treatment being sure to have a treatment kit ready for use.  If you see blemishes beginning to appear, don't wait.  Restart your treatment immediately and continue for several more months.  Repeat this process until blemishes do not reappear when you stop treatment.  It's just awful when you get your acne under control and then loose control of it because you stopped treatment too soon.
